I don't know for sure if this is the right place to ask this, but here goes.
About a week ago my command line started to lag really strangely after entering whatever command it was I entered. What happens is I'll type something in, hit enter, and then nothing happens until I click on the CLI window at which point it will refresh with whatever output corresponds to my command.
I've searched for any similar issues and haven't found any, though I've sometimes in the past had issues finding the appropriate terminology for my searches.
I also am one of those people who will leave my computer on forever and only shut it down occasionally; I thought that maybe this was somewhat related but I've shut my computer down and given it time to recuperate before restarting and still have the same problem.
Any insights or help would be greatly appreciated.
