KDE 4.2 RC: Shutdown computer withou logging out to KDM

    Hi,

I have just upgraded to KDE 4.2 RC from KDE 4.1.3
However, after the upgrade, I have noticed that the Kickoff Shutdown computer option no longer shutdown the computer, instead it just logout to KDM.
I have tried System settings>Advanced tab>Session manager>Default shutdown option>Turn off Computer but it does not work.
Any idea how to fix that?

    Thanks

Yes, KDE 4.2 RC has this sillines .

Earlier > KDE 4.x and the "Leave" menu

    I have been using this
    > KShutdown home
    > KShutdown kde-apps
    as a workaround.

    The official repositories (Intrepid/Jaunty) have:
    Package: kshutdown (1.0.2-1ubuntu1)
it is for the KDE 3.5 (might work with the KDE 4) but i have been using a beta version for the KDE 4 (Jaunty) from the PPA repositories: > PPA >> Show PPAs matching:kshutdown.

Update. It is in the official Jaunty repositories > [ubuntu/jaunty] kshutdown 2.0~beta4-1ubuntu1 (Accepted)
