[SOLVED]Radio buttons and check boxes

Dear Fellow Kubuntans,

I am having an issue with my radio buttons and check boxes not rendering as they should in my browser and in other programs. I changed the setting for their rendering to "Clean Looks" in System Settings | Appearance. There is still no change to the way they are rendered. The problem is that they are not completely showing. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
