In KDE 3.5, I was able to create printer "instances" -- basically setting up my printer once, then copying it to make queues for different output. Like this: 1_HP7280_Blk_draft, 2_HP7280_Color_normal, etc. I can't find a way to do this in KDE 4 without manually creating each queue as a new printer. I found an Instances thread which purports to do this either through the CUPS web interface or a printer-configuration-gui, but I don't think the methods there really support instances as in KDE 3.5. Does anyone know if there's really a way to just copy to create new instances?
