How to add program to menu?

    Hi,

    Today I installed Medusa4, a cad program.
It installed fine, no problems. There is just one little snag. It is installed in /opt/medusa4blabla/anotherdir and the file to start it is called startmedusa The only thing is, I can not get it to run from the menu, have to run konsole and enter ./startmedusa from that dir. Even tried to copy/paste the file to my home dir and start it from there which works, but still, I need to do it from the konsole.
So I guess my question is, how do I type this command in the menu. I think I tried everything possible, but nothing works.
I know it is so noob simple, but hey, that's what I am, a noob.

    Thanks, Will.

When you edit the menu did you check the box that says run from terminal?

Yes, I'm sorry I didn't mention that and sure, that works, but does it have to be this way?
This means that everytime I startup Medusa my konsole opens up too of course and that is not something I would like to have.
Maybe I am too finicky in this, but isn't there another way then?

I don't know how, if there is. I suggest you don't hide it even if you find a way. Coming from a windows background I know this seems foreign, but the terminal is your friend!
