    > KTrafficAnalyzer
    Depends on: KDE 3.x

    Description:
KTrafficAnalyzer is meant to provide visual feedback of your current network traffic, similar to tools like DU-Meter. In addition it provides statistics with total down- and upload sums.

    #1 Compile yourself ?

    KTrafficAnalyzer-0.4.0-1 INSTALL file tells:
    Installation:
    =============
A simple make should do the job:

    shell> make

If no error occurs you will find the KTrafficAnalyzer binary in the current
directory. Now you can install it into your kde/bin folder by running:

    shell> make install

NOTE: You have to be root in order to do that
This was working with the KDE 3.X.

    #2 Use alien

    > Suselinux (rpm) KTrafficAnalyzer

    > How To: Convert any package from one format to another (using "alien")

    #3 Use alternatives

    > plasma-netgraph
    Depends on: KDE 4.x

    Description:
    Plasma-netgraph is a plasmoid,
that displays network usage and is
    comprised of a configurable applet
    and a data-engine.

The data-engine is, for the most part,
code copied from knetload[1] and wrapped with the plasma API.
