problem with kopete window chat

Hi,

since yesterday kopete chat windows have a strange behavior:

1- every time I send a messege and I press enter the window chat close automatically.
2- if I get more than one message, the windows chat do not display them instead of
that I see a botton "Next" to see the next message.
3- the window chat style are not taking effect

So far I have try (in order to solve the problem)

1- uninstall and reinstall the application
2- remove all the kopette settings on my .kde files and everything I have found in the system
3- remove and re-add my msn account.

The problems persists and I cann't really chat if every time I send a message the windows close..

Any idea? perhaps is a settings problem, but I cann't find it.

I never successfully connect with kopete ever since 8.x, the 'butterfly' stops after few second I never get connected, http method may work some times but the other end can not actually communicate with me the messages can't get thru', end up I use pidgin without one single problem, so does all other IM client available >
