    ok now it did allow me to save but when I go to the terminal and I put:

    sudo apt-get update

    it give me this error:

    E: Type 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-mem...de4/ubuntudeb' is not known on line 48 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list

        I have a similar problem...
        My error is:

        E: Il tipo '<!DOCTYPE' non è riconosciuto alla linea 1 nella lista sorgenti /etc/apt/sources.list.d/winwhq.list


        What can i do?

          There is a problem with at least one entry in your /etc/apt/sources.list.d/winwhq.list file. Please post it for a review.
          Windows no longer obstruct my view.

            This file is an error but i can't delete it...
            The right file is winehq.list...

              I'm not a Wine user, but am familiar with the sources lists that are used by Adept. What you are showing as a package resources list for Wine, that would be used by Adept, isn't right.

              This is what I would do if I were in your position. Open a console and type:
              Code:
              sudo rm /etc/apt/sources.list.d/winehq.list
              This will delete the winehg.list file. Then, while still in the console, type:
              Code:
              sudo apt-get update
              to refresh your package cache.

                    I got the same error using Kate to try and edit sources.list

                    Instead, try using vim or nano. i have had good luck with vim, never tried nano but I hear it is pretty easy too. To use vim:

                    sudo vim etc/apt/sources.list

                    Then press "i" to enter editing mode, then make the changes you want to make. When done press ESC, then "w" to save and "q" to exit
