I am using Kopete, and when i IM a yahoo user i get " <\p>" at the start and end of all my messages. Does anyone know if kopete is trying to fix this? my version is .6 yet the kopete pages says the latest is .5, is kopete still going? I never see anything about it on kde work for future.

I think those are html tags indicating a paragraph? I use kopete sometimes and I don't see that and hope I won't.
I tried to google it but didn't get very many results. Sorry, I can't offer any more ideas. -

It's a known bug to be patched in KDE 4.2
