    SystemSettings>Keyboard&Mouse>GlobalKeyboardShortc uts
    1. Choose 'KWin' in 'kde component' dropdown menu
    2. Find and set the shortcut for 'Window Menu'

    Konsole>Settings>ConfigureShortcuts
    1. Find and set shortcuts for 'Switch to Tab #'

I meant there are several of them:
        Switch to Tab 1,
        Switch to Tab 2,
        Switch to Tab 3 etc.

Create a shortcut for the ones you need (alt+1, alt+2...)

Hmm...could be a 'version' thing. The shortcuts for switching tabs are there on my konsole 2.2 (KDE 4.2 Beta). Perhaps you're using an older version that doesn't have the shortcuts?

He's using KDE 4.1 (as I am - KDE 4.1.3). So the console tab shortcuts you are referring to are in KDE 4.2 beta.
