Xorg eats more and more ram

I notised high memory usage, and upon checking System Monitor, it was Xorg using 300+ Mb. I loged out and restarted X server. After loging back in, Xorg process used 36Mb. But this morning it was back to 100 and rising. Here is a screen shot: http://www.shrani.si/f/Z/Ni/2FRak8uL/snapshot3.png

Does any one hava any idea what to do, or where to post a bug report?

    Oh, I'm using 8.10 Kubuntu and KDE 4.2 beta1.

It seems compositing related. If I turn off desktop effects, Xorg memory usage stays at around 40Mb.
This kind of sucks because I really like the effects. But if I leave them on, I have to restart x server every day, or I run out f ram.

Any suggestions? Is this normal? Any of you having same problems?

I notice Xorg eating up ram after many many days, but not the sort of increase you describe after just one day. I also have desktop effects enabled. When your computer is idling is there anything that xorg is doing that might cause memory increase?

I have no idea what it's doing. How do I check?
Now after two days Xorg process is using 30Mb, without desktop effects.
