Hello, Iam a long time Windows admin but I am wanting to mess around in other OS's. Here is my issue I am runnign VMWare Workstation to build by machines. I installed the latest version of Kubuntu and it all seems good... Iam trying to install mono and I am running this command:
For Hardy (8.04) or Intrepid (8.10), install the mono-2.0-devel package by pasting the following line into your browser address bar (or using synaptic):
apt:mono-2.0-devel
I get this into Konqueror and it fails with an error about unsupported protocol!! If I run this same command in the latest version of Ubuntu that I have in Firefox it works fine and goes and gets the packages....
I have messed around in Adept.. but for the life of me I cant get it to go get mono....
can some one please help?
Thanks
Charlie
