This is kinda weird. The first avi I played in Dragon Player ever did have sound. Then when I opened a second avi it didn't have sound. I tried a video on youtube and it didn't have sound either. So I restarted my machine, and tried youtube and the sound was working fine. I then opened a video in Dragon Player and it didn't have sound. Just to make sure I went back and verified that the sound in youtube was still working. Any ideas?

Re: No sound in Dragon Player
I see that your message was written over half a year ago, but I have a similar situation with Kubuntu 10.04.
First, I try a .MOV file with Dragon Player. I can try as many files as I want at the same time, and nothing will happen. I open up YouTube, using Opera, and before I close the tab, I start Dragon Player. I have to load the .MOV file twice. On the second attempt, it works fine for me.
I hope that helps.
