    Kubuntu Beryl

    Goodday,

Im trying to install Beryl on different ways, like adding this url:
    deb http://ubuntu.beryl-project.org feisty main

That url will fail. I also tryd sudo apt-get beryl. But no luck.
Im using Kubuntu out of the USB-Creator.

Is it possible to only download the deb file somewhere, and install that package.

    Thanks,
    Alexw

    G'Day yourself!

Are you sure you want Beryl? It has been abandoned since spring of 2007 -- there is no support and no further development, AFAIK. Here is the official "latest news" from the Beryl Project web site -- note the date:

In Kubuntu, you have "Desktop Effects" as the official 3D/Compositing utility, or if you are a non-conformist like me you can install Compiz and Emerald, which will disable the Alt-F2 function but give you the cool cube and window borders.
