KDE 4.1 and Compiz Fusion

Hi guys, I've just installed kubuntu (from ubuntu and then installed kubuntu-desktop) and if I activate compiz fusion (using the desktop effects addon from the repo) I can get compiz working -but- as soon as its active I can no longer resize my windows (only minimize/maximize).
I tried replacing the window manager with emerald to see if that was the problem and no luck?
I figure it's probably a setting somewhere but I have no idea where to start and google turned up little, can anyone help?

Open konsole and type in:

sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

After installing, run it by typing ccsm at konsole.
There, under the category "Window Management", enable the "Resize Window" option.
