KDE not saving sessions

I have a problem (another), when I logout from my session and login again all my running programs are gone. In Kubuntu 7.10 when I logged out and logged in again all the running programs tried to restore the previous state so it seemed that you never logout (and save a lot of time).
Is there any option or update to make KDE 4 to behave that way?

Check for:

K Menu > System Settings > Advanced > Session Manager > On Login > Restore previous session
