My icons on the tool bar/panel bar go dark, instead of highlight when the mouse rolls over them. I set up another user, and just the opposite happens. It's not a huge problem, but it's really irritating. I want the the menu icon and the quick access icon to go bright when I mouse over them, not go dark.
Anybody have a clue where this can be changed, or is this a corruption problem somewhere?

it's a little flaky, but in the appearance icon setting you can change the gamma setting for an active folder. Only two settings, full or none, even though it's a slider. Not very intuitive finding the answer, so it just takes a lot of trial and error.
