Hi Everyone:
Recently I dwnld Kubuntu 8.10 32bit edition.
And have been fighting this problem for over a week now.
Login sounds play fine, But even though I have the sounds set to Play like for when I maximize a window, or minimize a window, etc.
And they Play fine while checking them while setting them.
They just won't Play as they should, Now mind you the Videos sound, Music, etc are OK.
It's just the System Sounds.
I check the Kmix Icon and it says Sound has been "MUTED", Ok easy enough Unmute it right?
WRONG it won't let me..... >
They all played Happy Together in 8.04 but not in this one.
Is it something in Intrepid or KDE 4?
I'm dwnld 8.10 64bit to see if it might just be trying to run the standard 32bit version, I doubt it but it's worth a try!!!!! :P
