        They are build by default if there is a KDE source or there is a debian package or there is (K)ubuntu maintainer.

        Most (?) of the packages are maintained by the community:

        =>

        > UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages
        Requesting a new package for Ubuntu

        To get a package into Ubuntu, please file a bug in Launchpad and make sure it has the tag needs-packaging. Please mention where to get the source for it and which license it is under. An example request is here. Make sure you check which packages have already been requested. For packages in Debian, but not in Ubuntu file a bug with the summary field "please sync package <packagename> from debian <distro>" where packagename is the package you would like to see...
        Example: > Bug #260094: [needs-packaging] plasmoid-quicklauncher

            I find some plasmoid on the internet, but they are source only need to 'make', and I don't see any easy to use network traffic display like the 'blinky' thing for dial up modem, also want a system resources display, like the old system guard that shows a tiny graph, when click on will pop out the full resources display, these are the most useful widget to me.
