Hello, my Kde panel loses all the custom settings (like number of desktops, application launchers, etc) after I log out. How can I retain these settings after logouts? Thanks Denis

Check in the System Settings | Advanced | Session Manager and make sure "Restore previous session" is checked. -

Solved *** i found out that there was no config file in my ~/.kde directory.
I made a config file in the ~/.kde directory and the panel settings are preserved now after logout.

Hi Nate, thanks for replying, I checked the 'retain system settings' and it was set. Perhaps the absent config folder played a part in losing the setttings. DenisComment
