Hi,
I found the new desktop very confusing and I managed to make a right mess of it. I had forgotten what the default list of widgets etc.
I searched around and found out that the desktop can be returned to the default settings by deleting the .kde file in the home folder. The system then rebuilds the desktop itself when rebooting.
Is this a safe way of restoring default settings and if so can I "advertise" this on this forum?
Cheers,
Mike.
