When using the Konsole with Desktop Effects turned on the console does not refresh properly. Anyone else seeing this and have a fix. Else I will send something to the developers....

Yes, I see similar problems. I've been hoping that subsequent updates to the 4.3 line
would fix it but it never happen. The problem is still there.
Here is how I reproduce it:
1. I have 4 virtual desktops.
2. Desktop Effects are on.
3. I open Konsole on Desktop 1 (upper-left)
4. I go to Desktop 2 (upper-right)
5. I go to Desktop 4 (lower-right)
6. I got to Desktop 3 (lower-left)
7. I go back Desktop 1 (upper-right)
8. I put cursor on Konsole and press middle button (as if I wanted to paste).
The text from clipboard gets copied into Konsole. But the whole Konsole window
content disappear. It is replaced with the background or the window under Konsole
(if there is one).
I had the same behavior in KDE 4.3.1 and 4.3.2. I cannot boot KDE 4.4 successfully
so I don't know if the problem is still there in 4.4
