Is there something that can pop up when media such as a flashdrive, DVD or (remember) floppy disk is inserted in the computer to ask the user what he wants to do with the media? It used to be called KDE Daemon, the little window that pops up with Dolphin simply opens the media, and I don't think many of our users will know to look there. Something that pops up as in PCLinux, Mepis etc?
For example, right now, you insert a DVD, and all you get is the dolphin notifier that pops up. The user clicks it and is presented with the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders. The user, lost, tries to open the windows, and gets the .VOB files, and goes back to Microsoft, which just pops up and asks if he wants to play it with Power DVD or Winders Media player.
Any suggestions to replicate the KDE Daemon?
