konsole not working(solved)

I have a newbie question. I cannot access konsole, by any method, not by clicking on the program or by writing "konsole" in the run command. All that happens is that the konsole icon bounces up and down a few times and the disappears. Is there a way to correct this?

I finally solved the problem. For some reason the path to my konsole command had changed. I now changed it to /usr/bin/konsole and it works!!
