Does anyone know how often the kde-nightly packages are actually updated? It seems it's not "nightly", but I've just installed a few days ago so I don't know if it's weekly or longer or whatever.

God I wish I had never seen 4.0/4.1... stupid "needing to be bleeding edge" personality... can you imagine if you woke up one day and your 3.5.10 was a 4.2.x 8)

Not to be a smartazz, but it's neither. Currently slightly less than weekly, but certainly not nightly.

Though with 4.2 now feature frozen, hopefully the releases will approach "nightlies" more and more as January draws ever closer. I see there are some new releases coming down the pipes tonight, in fact.

Todays update seems to have been extensive. I haven't had the time to test everything but lancelot is back (with applications)

            Kickoff is still missing those

            Kopete lost msn :P
It is still there in kopete on II
I'll be starting a separate thread on that one.

Plasma looks more stable and even faster

I see the Google SoC code has made it into KMail, too.

Hmmm. Sounds very promising. I'm glad to hear how well KDE4 is progressing. I just hope they iron out all the Graphic problems I'm having with my lap top. The Intel GMA display is by no means spectacular, but it does hold it's own, I just hate they don't seem to want to fix this Intel display card.
