Kopete crashes in 8.10

Just before I upgraded from 8.04, I was having an issue whereby Kopete would contantly disconnect and reconnect with msn. Having my yahoo account connected at the same time had no problems.

After the upgrade to 8.10, when connecting to an msn account, Kopete now crashes. When connecting to a yahoo account, all seems fine.

Anyone else having this or a similar issue?

I have been using amsn for the time being but would prefer to go back to Kopete as it works well with my webcam whereas amsn does not..

I'm experiencing pretty much the same sort of irregularities as you: systray is not really consistent, kopete crashes and a couple of other things.

They are so minor that I don't bother - bet they'll be sorted in a couple of months. But let us know by all means if you get more info/get it sorted!
