Lost video in Kaffeine...

I upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10 and lost video in Kaffeine (i mainly play avi files). I also don't have any video in the Dragon player. Audio works in both.

Any ideas?

Same problem here...i can hear audio but screen is black

Do you have "desktop effects" on ?

Here: "Desktop effects"/ "Compositing" on => black screen on the media players. OpenGL conflict ?

If it is this problem and you want to use "Desktop effects" maybe Kaffeine > Settings > Xine engine parameters > Video > Videodriver to use... helps.
