Using Kbfx in Intrepid?

Ok, so I installed kbfx using the terminal with

sudo apt-get install kbfx

But then... it doesn't seem to do anything? There is no option to place the icon on my panel bar; I cannot replace the normal K menu with the Kbfx scheme, and changes I make in the Kbfx configuration menu do not stick.

Any help is much appreciated.

I have the same issue. I would like to try kbfx, but don't know how.

I did discover that the "add widgets" option when you right click on the panel has two "K" application launchers. The one that says "Application Launcher Menu" is, I find, much easier to deal with than the other.
