mouse gestures don't work anymore in kde 4.1

I've updated kubuntu and now the mouse gestures in konqueror don't work any more, anyone knows how to fix this?

Is it just Konqueror showing the problem?

System-wide mouse gesture settings are in System Settings > Advanced tab, Input Actions > Gestures Settings tab. The checkbox at the top of that tab "Disable mouse gestures globally" is checked for me, don't know if that's a default.

I only have used gestures with Konqueror, so I don't know about the other applications. I already unchecked the option you mentioned, but still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

I am missing them, too.

When trying to activate them I find that there is no gesture predefined the way they used to be - which reminded me of the same problem many many moons back. I solved this by finding a file on the internet called (you guessed it) something to do with konqueror gestures. After having put that in its rightful place in the system I had my gestures back.

I will go out hunting on google and report back - please do the same
