Desktop Moves With Mouse

I have recently upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10 - everything went smoothly enough, all my stuff seems to be working OK, I just have this annoying moving desktop. ie when I move the mouse to the right edge of my monitor, the desktop moves left, and when I move to the bottom of the monitor the desktop moves up. The display size is fine, just that it won't stand still. I tried running sudo nvidia-settings but didn't achieve much.

If you go to System Settings ->Desktop ->Window Behaviour ->Advanced and tick the box which says "Disabled" i think should do it.
