    Using Wicd instead of KNetworkManager

I am not happy with KNetworkManager...I find it gives me faulty info for my wireless...has anyone used wicd on 8.10? If I install it, will it remove KNetworkManager, or do I need to do that manually, and are there any issues that I should know about in advance...

    Thanks!!!

I like wicd much better. I removed NM manually.

I tried it and it wouldn't work properly, you had to start it manually each time you logged in.
