Does Your Konqueror Flash Plugin Work?

Intrepid is only two days from release and for me the flash plugin is completely broken. Doesn't crash but nothing displays. Personally I think if this is a widespread problem then Intrepid is just not ready for release until its fixed.

Might shock you to learn most peeps don't use konqueror. Flash works fine with firefox, and dolphin manages files very well.

It may shock you to learn I am perfectly well aware of this. The point is konqueror is the default browser on KDE and far better integrated than firefox, yet a major piece of functionality just does not work.

You have a point, however functionality is not a priority or Kde 4.1.2 would not be the default DE. Devs release on schedule, hardly debian like.

          True enough

It used to work a few updates back with 8.04.1 I guess it will again sometime soon.

            Here, Konqueror + konqueror-nsplugins + flashplugin-nonfree, seems to work.

You can use either official repositories for Ubuntu from Canonical or you can use the generic Opera repository.

Re: Does Your Konqueror Flash Plugin Work?

My 64bit installation usually works. Sometimes I load the page and get no display but refreshing usually takes care of it and makes the plugin load correctly. I have this same issue with Firefox.
