    baskets and kontact - SOLVED

    Hi there,

    I finally took the plunge and did a new install of 8.10 this morning.

    Can't say I'm not impressed, KDE is going to win some people over with this, although I do have one (prolly the first of thousands ) question:

    Basket is not incorporated into kontact but hovers in the sys tray as an individual program. Is it just me

    Over on the Ubuntu Forum, this same question was asked, and the answer was that Basket is still only a KDE3 application. II is a KDE 4 only OS.

    And from News - BasKet Note Pads:

    You might try:
    [2008-02-28]Reintegrate BasKet Note Pads in Kontact
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.
