The current version of libgpod has some trouble with sending cover art to the iPod.
That is; it does get transferred, but for each track separately (which isn't necessary, iTunes doesn't do this). This causes artwork to grow huge and take up about 10% of the space of the music!!
My 80G iPod is now a sad little 70G iPod
But seriously, it makes the cover-flow function useless because of the image loading times.
This is a known problem and it is fixed in the new svn version of libgpod.
Can someone please give an indication when this will be added to the ubuntu repository??
Or is there another way around this??
