Move panel from top to bottom or side/s ??

Yep I deleted it and of course when I got it back back it's on top of the screen. I've pushed all 3 buttons on my mouse and have learned about resizing but I'll be dipped if I can move the panel as a whole. I know I'm missing the boat somewhere but can't figure it out. I even changed the way I was holding my mouth, all that did was make my jaw sore! Thanx for any help

the following should do it:
- unlock widgets
- left click on the panel's cashew nut thing (semi transparent config panel pops up)
- left click on the config panel and drag to the top/side

that should be it.
