    why no Ntfs mount pint in dolphin

    I have had not a lot of issues with intrepid. learned lot form last few installs. However dolphin says my windows drive is ther but when you click on it nothign happens. anyone else have this issue ?. is there a terminal command i need to run to get dolphin to see my winblows drive?.

    kdesudo dolphin
    This will start dolphin as root giving you access to your ntfs drive. However I did notice with last nights updates, when I started dolphin as user and selected my ntfs drive (just for a laugh) a pop up box appeared asking for password thus giving access.

      Had the same problem and was annoyed. When I had GNome it did exactly what you said the updates did. Just finished a round of updates so tried it again in KDE. It worked!! Thanks for pointing that out. I probably would have stumbled in to that again, but this got me there quicker. Glad they got that working!

        yep my adept manager caught it this time :-) so far so good now to solve other issues. thanx to all
