[Solved] Internet Connection: Kubuntu - no connection, XP - connected

Hi, people. This time I'm in need of some help from you, guys, because my Internet connection doesn't work on Kubuntu anymore. For some weird reason my IP address changed (OK, this is not the weirdest thing yet) and today Kubuntu doesn't even connect to a repository... According to knetworkmanager I'm online and ifconfig shows my eth0 and some lo as online, too. Even so I can't open a single website no matter which one I've tried...

Later I logged into Windows and my Internet connection works fine. Nothing weird happens (besides some FF corrupt profile after an unexpected hard reboot)...

I have a Motorola Surfboard modem.

eth0 is usually your plug in connection.
what do you get if you type ifconfig wlan0 in Konsole?
