    Network Manager Widget

    Hello there:

my network manager widget seems to have disappeared from the panel. Can someone suggest a way of re-enabling it?

    Thanks in advance.

I've tried this already, but it doesn't add the Network Manager icon to the panel. I can see the network manager is running:

      ps -ef | grep knetworkmanager

      buzo 6188 1 1 13:59 ? 00:00:07 /usr/bin/knetworkmanager

Do I need to do anything special to the panel for this to show up again?

You shouldn't have to. I have noticed on occasion, that my Knetwork Manager icon "goes AWOL" as well, even though it is running. When it happens to me, just launching it from the K Menu causes it to reappear in the task bar. I think it's a glitch in plasma that causes it.
