    lost knetworkmanager

I was updating knetworkmanager and it crashed...now it is completely gone. I tried removing the package but it won't let me. I have no network, I don't know what version it is. It says I have 1:07svn864988 installed. When I try to reinstall it using the .deb it gives me an error that a line was missing?

    How do I correct this?

    Thanks-Nathan

See Re: problem with knetworkmanager(static ip) for a solution (if you are using a wired connection).

Alright, now I have a wired connection but no wireless. I tried installing wicd but since knetwork manager is screwed up it won't install. I still can't remove it or re-install it.

I'm going to try to install wicd through the following link above.
