Network problem

hi all

I just installed the 8.10 RC version now but>>> my network never work! the network applet is always disconnected!! i use manual IP configuration that did not work i also tried DHCP but .... still D/C ! hpw can i get it work! ihave realtek ethernet

I tried the previous beta versions but it didnot work as well, I thought that they will fix this before the final release! can anyone help?

Are you using a wireless or wired connection? If you are using wireless there might be some issues with the drivers. Have you taken a look in that direction.

Hi ! I have the same problem. Then I clicking connect & save in KnetworkManager, nothing happens. Popup says that is still disconnected. When I open etc/.../interfaces file there is no changes , static IP settings is not there.

I have a realtek card and it works. What card do you have?
