Two wireless and my wired Intrepid. Wireless: desktop w/XPPro ....laptop w/Vista all going through my linksys router and all connect fine to the internet. I'd like to have the win boxes access a couple directories on my Intrepid box. I had it set up before on HH but when I installed II I made a separate /home so I wouldn't lose stuff from II on. I posted a similar request somewhere on the forum but can't remember where or exactly when. Tried searching for my name and a couple other keywords to no avail. There were only about 5 or 6 steps that the poster took the time to write out for me. I've printed the Samba docs and for what I need/want they are above my head. I want to share some folders with the win boxes and that's about it.
