hoping to leave KDE4 for KDE3

A major mistake forced me to reinstall Kubuntu so I used Intrepid. After a week I've become disenchanted with KDE4. I'm running on a middle aged laptop with 512k memory. This is apparently too slow and limited for KDE4. Since KDE4 feels incomplete (Adept) I'm not willing to put up with the frustrations.

How do I install the older Kubuntu desktop onto Intrepid? Thanks in advance.

Before going to a lot of trouble reverting to KDE3.5 you might want to upgrade to KDE4.2, it's really a lot better than 4 (though certainly not finished).
Or when your main complaint is Adept, why not use Synaptic?

If you download and install from the link given above (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/ha...-live/current/) you can use 3.5.10 or 4.x.

I have nothing of KDE4 on this system, although it would be easy enough to add .... if i so wish.

.... who said "Stone Age"?? :P
