    sound in KDE 4.2

    Hi,

    I just updated to KDE 4.2 and unfortunately i don't get any sound out of my boxes anymore? worked fine in 4.1.3 tho....any suggestions?

    Simplest approach first. Open a console and type:
    Code:
    alsamixer
    Make sure that the Master and PCM channels aren't muted.
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.

      Masster & PCM were up but Surround was down and hence my speakers were quiet. Got some tunes going now. Thanks!
