I'm currently using the mail-notification applet from GNOME with my kde4 desktop to notify me of new mail in my imap4 account (it's actuall GroupWise, but I access it via imap4 protocol. POP3 won't cut it here). I like the way it looks, but the GUI lacks all the config options I need and I hate mucking about with gconf.
Is there a good mail notifier for KDE4? I saw some plasmoids on kde-look, but they appear to be abandoned now. I'm rather shocked there isn't a biff plamsoid, it seems like one of the most obvious applications for plasmoids. I'm using 4.2RC1, btw.
I tried kbiff, but looks like it's the olde KDE3 version and it lacked some features I wanted (namely, popping up the name and subject line when I get a new email).
