LVM - Encryption -> Remote login for passphrase

Hi,

i hope you can help me. I installed kubuntu 8.10 with lvm encryption. All works fine.
I can also login via cygwin (openssh) from my "M$ window$" - computer to the kubuntu - computer when kubuntu booted.
BUT:
I cant connect with my cygwin (openssh) to the kubuntu-computer, when i boot my kubuntu-computer. At booting the kubuntu-computer i must enter my encryption-passphrase. How can i do this remote (e.g. with openssh)? Is this possible?

Good question; I can see how that could pose a problem. I'm sorry I can't help you as I have never tried to use encryption; however, I am currently considering it. Did you ever resolve this? If so, please share the details if you don't mind.

If I end up heading down this path, I will post a follow-up.
