problem 1 & 2 : I get no sound or video via media player error say something like xine could not find sound drivers i also cant run video over kaffiene i tried an flv and the flash player plugin has been installed and is working over the web my sound doesn't work in (fluxbuntu either btw)
problem 3 after the login screen kubuntu shows the loading screen i see the icons yet just prior to the kubuntu icon coms up everything cuts out and i see a white screen for a longtime and he to manually turn the computer off with switch to get out
i log back on using fluxbuntu and fluxbuntu still seems to work
just not kubuntu
any help you can offer?
