    Adept doesn't find all packages

    Hi,

I have noticed that when I use adept to search for a package, many times it comes up empty. For example, if I search on 'gecko', I was expecting 'gecko-mediaplayer' to show up. But no go. However, if I go to a command prompt and type 'apt-get install gecko-mediaplayer', it installs no problem. I've noticed other packages with the same problem. I am using Intrepid with KDE 4.2 beta2. Could the beta KDE be part of the problem?

    Thanks in advance.....Paul

I think the beta Adept is more the problem, actually. Personally, I'm tempted to call it the "Adept Updater" rather than Adept Manager, as updating seems to be the only productive work I can do with it. I have to use Synaptic to actually view a list of available packages.

Ah ok then I see .. thought I did something wrong cause I felt the amount of packages was rather thin.
Synaptic did the job tho .. sometimes to well since I'm a newbie
