I think I have to post this because I mentioned previously that, on my experience, KDE 4 had printer setup broken. Well, at least in my case it was not a problem with the KDE 4 printer setup, it was a problem with the remote printer configuration. Once I fixed it, I just ran "New printer" and it was completely and perfectly autodetected and configured. Worked first time.
