cannot parse theme file /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/kubuntu solved:-)

KDE does not start with: "cannot parse theme file /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes/kubuntu"


I did the normal upgrade from Kubuntu 8.04 to 8.10.
Starting Grub5 does only offer to start Ubuntu 8.4.01 kernel 2.6.24-21-generic
I suspect that the Upgrade did not change my Grub.

starting recovery mode for 8.04 does not help. (it was not able to connect to ubuntu.com)
Shall I install 8.10 from CD to fix Grub?

it seems that the upgrade process was not finished.
Doing ?apt-get dist-update? did solve the problem.
