What genius forgot to put KPPP on the installation CD??!!!!
I'm on a dialup and a friend was kind enough to burn a CD for me of the ISO image.
Imagine my surprised when I booted up and had no way to connect to the Internet
So, now I'm in XP.
Putting a unfinished product like KDE 4.xx in Kubuntu 8.10 is a MAJOR mistake
IMHO and will do great harm to the distribution's reputation. At this point I think I'll go back to Slackware where I had more control over the installation.
